Wylder Homes for Sale in Port St. Lucie
A newer master-planned community west of I-95 between Midway Road and Glades Cut-Off Road, with all-ages and 55+ neighborhoods and Glynlea Country Club. Here’s what to know about living in Wylder.
About Wylder
Wylder is one of Port St. Lucie’s newest master-planned communities.
It includes several neighborhoods with their own amenity centers, from all-ages single-family neighborhoods with resort-style pools, fitness centers, playgrounds and dog parks, to a gated 55+ neighborhood with a clubhouse and pickleball. Pioneer Park, with a ship-themed play area and splash pad, is nearby.
Glynlea Country Club
Inside Wylder, Glynlea Country Club is a gated golf neighborhood built around Jim Furyk’s first signature course, with a Toptracer driving range, fitness and wellness center, tennis, pickleball and two pools. Homes there have ranged from the $400s to over $1 million. See my golf communities guide.

Choosing a neighborhood in Wylder
Wylder is made up of several neighborhoods, and they do not all share the same amenities, dues or rules. Before you choose, it helps to decide what matters most:
All-ages neighborhoods
- Resort-style pools and fitness centers
- Playgrounds and dog parks
- Single-family homes in a range of sizes
Gated 55+ and golf
- A gated 55+ neighborhood with a clubhouse and pickleball
- Glynlea Country Club for golf-centered living
- Membership terms to review at Glynlea
I’ll compare the neighborhoods, their dues and any district assessments so you can see the full monthly cost in each. For more options nearby, see my Tradition guide and Riverland guide.
New construction or resale in Wylder?
Because Wylder is a newer community, you’ll often have a choice between buying new from the developer and buying a resale home from an owner. Each has trade-offs:
Buying new
- Choose finishes and options
- Builder warranty coverage
- Build timelines can shift
- Landscaping, blinds and extras may cost more
Buying resale
- Move in sooner
- Upgrades and landscaping often included
- Room to negotiate on price and repairs
- Check remaining warranty and roof age
Either way, I recommend your own independent inspection and having your own agent represent you. See my new construction guide.
